"They are quite a bit heavy than normal bikes so defiantly look at the weight when comparing ebikes. I love mine. I opted for a folding bike and that works well for me." Did you get it from an independent bike shop or somewhere like Halfords?

"I have a Gocycle which is very good but on the expensive side. The G4 is a folder with 20 inch wheels but becomes the size of a 'normal' bike when unfolded. Pedelecs.co.uk is a very good website for all things e-bike as is the Electroheads channel on Youtube. " Thanks, will take a look

"It may be worth looking whether your employer (assuming you have one) offers a cycle to work scheme. You pay for the bike from your salary before tax is deducted so you save around 20% and there's no obligation to use it to travel to work. B" Thanks I'll look into this with my employer.
