From the land of haribos.

I was reading an article about it and it was interesting.

I agree with it that they can work together, because both can bring out the best in each other in a unique ways sometimes optimists can be overly optimistic and maybe arent noticing the pitfalls of their plan, this is where a pessimist can bring them back down to reality a bit.

Here are some characteristics of them 2, starting with the optimist:

1 Growth mindset

2 Focus on opportunities

3 Positive reinforcement

4 Effective problem solving

5 Team player

Here are the pessimists traits:

1 Fixed mindset

2 Focus on obstacles

3 Negative reinforcement

4 Difficulty in problem solving

5 Isolation

What is your view about it and which one are you and what do you think of the points listed of them 2, are they correct?

I do believe that one can be both an optimist and a bit pessimistic and vise versa as it is on a spectrum. I would say that I am mostly an optimist

I disagree. I would say realist. I've worked with optimistic ""people and they are great but can fail to see the wider picture. I share both traits but wouldn't put myself as negative , more about being real regarding the situations and a helicopter view.

Of course then can but would be a constant battle of wish one was right.

For example.

Pessimist : that won’t fit.

Optimist : yes it will, watch.

One of them is going to be right.

I'm completely confident this could be totally disastrous.

I'm on the optimistic side of realistic. Working with persistent pessimists is soul destroying

Melchett.

Field marshall have has a plan for final victory

Blackadder

Let me guess we climb out of the trenches and walk slowly toward the enemy

Melchett

My god how did you know that's classified

Blackadder

It's the same plan we have done 17 times before.

Melchett

Exactly that's why the foul hun will never expect us to do it again.
