I see a common complaint on here about how hard it is to get verified as a single man (let alone arrange a meet).

Somewhat predictably, the blame for this is then foisted squarely on women.

But it's not that hard (… as the actress said to the Bishop).

I've just had my first verification (from a video call), and getting it was as easy as acting like a decent human and having a conversation, rather than sending inappropriate pictures of my anatomy and wondering why my approaches are as welcome as a turd on my pillow.

Interestingly enough, the lady messaged me out of the blue.

Why?

Because of a thoughtful and intelligent comment I made on a forum promting her to ask me a question (she wasn't seeking a playmate, in other words).

Chaps, it's not about how tall you are (I'm a short-arse), how well-endowed you are (about average), how young you are (I'm 58), or how popular you are (like most autistics, the popular kid ain't me).

Nope. This is all a suite of learnable skills.

They're not complicated or hard, but the chances are you'll start off bad at them and won't get better until you practise them.

Fair?

Probably not.

But so what?

It's still incumbent on YOU to learn them.

And ladies... if you read the verification and like what you see, don't get your hopes up too high.

I think it depends on your expectations and what you want from here. You were clearly happy to be verified by video call and putting yourself across as a decent human being is literally the bare minimum anyone can do on here.

However, it would be naive to say it isn't tough for those looking for something more or something deeper which goes for both men and women and pretty much everyone here. Conversations that pass time are brilliant but eventually, people do look for more

Veris mean very little to me so I don't know why so much is invested in them. One person's perfect meet is another ones disaster. Reading someone's veris has never made mme decide that I want to chat or meet someone,in fact the only notice of take of veris is to know who to avoid if they have met one of the drama loving individuals on here. Easier to avoid than be dragged into that sesspit of fab.

Well done OP on getting your first veri and it's good you're happy with it.I don't see the need to have to tell other men who haven't been as lucky what they must be doing something wrong though. There are plenty of decent men on here who do and have struggled to get a first veri and through no fault of their own.

Those who are rude or crude well they will continue to carry on that way and will continue to wonder why it doesn't work for them on here. No matter what advice they get and to be honest that's a good thing because it's easier not to interact,than have someone showing a false façade at the start.

Of course there is, but it's very rarely one or the other. There are nuances and phases of emotion that people go through on here where they can try they hardest to get a positive outcome that doesn't result in rage, but maybe a lack of self worth for example.

What's the fuss about? A video call is very easy to get, you can get one by going to the chat rooms. Don't even have to leave the house.

If you really really want one go to a club or an organised social.

Now an actual "she had sex with me" verification, or even a 1on1 social date/meeting... Now that right there is the tricky part.

Additionally it is forum produced. It's a much smaller and close knit part of fab that is easier to be noticed upon based on things said. Only a small % actually use and stuck to the forum over a longer period of time, the general fab user does not use it. Standard getting a verification process methods are far more difficult than this.
