I’ve not used this site “regularly” in years but maybe I’m out of touch.

Lady posts a status about meeting today, I message politely with pictures, she replies the same, with pictures, asking where I’m based. I tell her, “I live ….., so it’s still central”.

I am now blocked? Why? What did I do? Is the nice central area I live in not good enough? Any inside to mindset like this would be great just from like a people watching/psychological stand point.

The 'So it's still central' implies that you already knew she wouldn't be keen on the answer.

Regardless. People block the people they decide they don't want to meet, whatever the reasons for that are. Don't take it to heart. Not everyone is for everyone

The only insight I can offer, is that she doesn’t want to meet people from where you are.

It sucks not to know why, but you’ll tie yourself up in knots wondering about it.

Easier to just move on, forget about it.

You are right, best to forget it. People tend to change their mind or come up with irrational reasons.

You're assuming you've done something wrong when you obviously haven't from the information you've given.

My guess is that you're too close for comfort and as the advice given many, many times to women is to block rather than politely decline, that's what she's done.

Its a disappointment for sure but please don't question yourself over it
