Food from your childhood

So I’ve just had a butterscotch angel delight. It must be 30 years since I’ve had one and it’s still a winner for me

The other week I also tried a Findus Crispy Pancake….really not good

What food do you remember from your childhood and have tried in adulthood and really likes still or totally dislike now?

Vesta boil in the bag curry

Fray Bentos pies

Peas when you had to shell them yourself

Winkles

I wouldn't entertain any of them now

Not even the freshly shelled peas in a risotto?

Mattessons smoked pork sausage. I know it's junk, but wow does it make a risotto and remind me of my childhood!

The cheap shop down the front street (econofreeze maybe? Not sure) sold these cheap frozen cheeseburgers in paper bags that you put in the microwave loved them at the time as quick tea so could go play out rather than waiting for me mam getting in, never had them since I’d imagine they were in reality utter rank

Yes! The chocolate one was my favourite. You had I wait ages to eat it though otherwise the sauce would burn your mouth

Arctic Roll. Yummy. Although it's not something I've had for absolutely ages. I'll have to buy one soon.

Chef beans and sausage in that unconventional sized red tin. It had to be those ones, I was obsessed. You can imagine how sad I was when they came off the market. I still feel the loss.
