Let's keep it easy.

Are you easy to read? Do people pick up on your mood easily? Are you good at reading others?

I think I'm easy enough to read generally speaking, the difficulty probably comes in whether my sarcasm is annoyance, friendly banter, or an attempt at getting into your pants

As for reading other people, I need extra large font and a reading light. I'm fucking awful at it

Moody cow here

Honest, clear, flammable, loud. Very easy to read.

Rubbish at reading others.

My actual mood at any given time, no. I'm cynical and dislike people, but unless I'm intentionally lashing out and venting I could be in a great mood and people wouldn't be able to tell my actual mood. I'm extremely stoic for the most part.

Some say I'm grumpy and I can be, especially mornings but that's not my overall mood.

It is no secret I dislike too much positivity along with overly negative. I prefer to see balance and what I can say and do is often reflective of that and not my own personal mood internally or externally.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m very good at camouflaging my inner emotions to the outside world.

Reading others though; it depends on how well versed in similar obfuscation they are.

Obfuscation….what a lovely word

I didn't think I was easy to read but I think I'm easier than I think.

I'm absolutely rubbish at reading others, but I like to think I'm a good judge of character.

I am easy when I'm relaxed and happy, I'm impossible when I'm not, showing emotions in tense situations when I was younger, was dangerous. So it's a learned behaviour I excel at

Varies with engagement. Often, easy to read and good at reading. But like so much in life it's situation specific; in other circumstances it can go wrong in both directions.

Would prefer to be more legible. Somewhere Jane Austen talks of one of her heroes having an open countenance. There's something emotionally honest about being frankly on display like that.

"Let's keep it easy.

I'll try.

If reading means analysing and working me out. No

If it means trying to understand me and empathise. Yes

I am good at reading others, but I never assume to know a person's mind better than they do. I ask and check my understanding.

I offer openness and hope for the same in return. I am not interested in relationships where that quality does not exist.

I immediately felt that yes, I am but I'm not sure that's true on reflection. I wear my emotions as a jacket, you see the outside layer clear as day. I share the style, the colour and fabric with all who want to notice. My underwear are my true feelings. You might occasionally glimpse a bra strap, a hint of lacey knicker but unless we're close you'll rarely see the full set...

That saying, recently people have said they saw my knickers when I thought I was only showing my coat... so who knows! *shrug emoji

I think I can sometimes be very easy to read. I have one of those faces that usually gives away what I'm thinking. Especially in meetings at work!

However other times I can be incredibly guarded.

When it comes to others I think I'm quire perceptive but sadly I'm still misled at times.

I want to say yes to both (being read and reading), but empirical evidence suggests otherwise, so no. I try to compensate with speech instead.

I think I'm fairly transparent.

I'm 99.5% of the time super chirpy at work. So when people ask how I am and I respond negatively, they haven't known what to say/do

I will always discuss my mood, but not necessarily why I'm in that mood.

You tell me?

I've been described as an enigma and guarded a few times.

Sometimes I think I couldn't be any easier to read, other times I think people really don't get me or my dry sense of humour.

Truth is I can't tell how others read me.

I always read it as friendly banter if that's any help?

You learn people over time don't you? Their mannerisms. What their intent is, along with their words. Having a reading light isn't always a bad thing.

In real life I think you will find me to be easy to read. I can’t be bothered hiding emotions anymore.

Behind the keyboard - who knows what mood anyone is in? It is pretty much impossible to say.

Honestly? I think you're guarded to a certain extent and when you're comfortable you're happier showing more of yourself. Lots of people are like that, it's not a deep analysis of your psyche don't worry.

I think I'm finding it easier to read you recently. Like a little shift where we both understand each other a bit more. I don't think you ever know how others read you unless you ask them directly. And even then it's so quick to change from biases both positive and negative. I like people asking me questions, even if they're of the rhetorical persuasion.

Where I'm a wears his heart on his sleeve kind of guy, I hide nothing, if I like you I'll tell you, if I don't like you, you'll know quickly

Working others out I'm the same as F in that respect
