Gëntlefolk, Nøn-Binariës and Persons of Interest...

For those of you who possess more than one handbag which items, other than keys and money, do you transfer regularly between them when swapping bags?

Is it the lip balm, cologne, hand cream, an item of make up, something associated with personal care, a small 'toy", some chocolate, a hairbrush, hopes and dreams, earbuds, condoms, ... ?

I have a bag inside of my bag which I can move between other bags.

Menstrual products, lip balm, plasters, bobbles, small refillable perfume bottle.

Swapping bags makes me feel insecure. Mr N bought me a small cross body bag with room only for a phone, tissues and two payment methods. I feel free.

The expensive leather bag that I hefted around filled with unecessary 'stuff' sits dejected in a corner

Lipstick, perfume, hand sanitiser, chewing gum, and a vape are in all of my bags.

Depending on the size, I also take a travel cutlery set

The thing I don't understand, handbag users, is this:

On the days you want to use a small bag, and can survive with whatever is in said small bag, why you then need 10 times as much on any other day?????

I don't have a handbag. I have my wheelchair fanny pouch. I have my small backrest bag and my big backrest bag.

In my wheelchair fanny:

Purse

Gloves (fingerless and fingered)

Tissues

Sanitary pads

Lactase enzyme pills

Keys

Random bits of paper

My big backrest bag is my work bag and has my laptop, charger, graph paper, pens, lunchbox etc in. It also has sanitary pads, spare underwear and my equipment for wheelchair repair plus spare inner tube.

I use the smaller bag at the weekends and on trips out. I transfer the wheelchair repair stuff and it also has sanitary pads etc and tissues in all the time.

Keys, purse, phones, medications x 3, umbrella, hand cream, hand sanitizer, lip balm, small hairbrush, nail file, a folded carrier bag.

Stuff for periods in case I get caught out.

I rarely change bag.

My going out bag has the first four items and maybe a little makeup.

I don't swap my bag very often. I should really. I will be this week!

I have a bit of a thing for Mary Poppins bags as I carry around a lot of stuff - important things like medication. Hair bobbles. Hand sanitiser. Tissues. Pens. Chewing gum. A playing card from a first date. Lip balm. Keys. Phone. Lighters.

I don't think I could do smaller unless it's for a night out.

I often go out without a handbag and just take my phone, but when I do have a bag, it’ll have earbuds, sunglasses, comb, medication, pen, tampons, mints, pocket tissues, hair bobbles, plus a small makeup bag containing a compact mirror, concealer, bronzer, mascara, lip pencil, lipstick and gloss.

In my every day bag I have a small bag inside that one with hair clips, perfume, nose rings, lip balm, vaseline, hair brush, vape liquids, teeth putty (you never know when you might need it), mini tooth paste and brush, mirror, tooth picks, pen.
