Hotels. What are they like eh? I like the ones with a pool and smell of chlorine as soon as you waltz on through with that suitcase like you're a high flyer and not a disgusting shite.

Anyway the question for this holy Sunday is - what is your favourite hotel of choice for a sexy meet up with a sexy someone?

Does a particular brand have better showers? Bigger softer beds?

I've only ever been treated to a hotel stay once by a man on fab. He chose. It was gorgeous, and so is he.

Otherwise I've gone halves with someone in cheap places because we just needed a room for the night.

We often go for holiday Inn or Prem Inn hotels, good price and almost always very clean and staff are nice but no pool etc.

We look to book a hotel with a hot tub when its not busy and would like Mrs to flirt with a guy in there, may be our next mini-break ad also invite a FS there

I really like Marriot’s, doesn’t take long to get to platinum or titanium elite , then you just book the most basic room for £100 via the app & get free suite upgrade, free breakfasts and often lounge access free alcohol and food between 6 and 8 pm. Although you need to check as not all offer all the benefits

I prefer to book apartments than hotel rooms, unless they have a seperate sitting room.

I need a good coffee in the morning and a kitchen helps, also we like to make the most of being alone, take some fab pics etc and there's more choice with an apartment.

Depends on the length of stay, Primer inn for a one night but if it longer weekend a hotel with a few more facilities is a better bet, but nothing beats home comforts.

As much as it's about the company etc...

If I'm having a sexy date, I really like a sexy hotel. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with and have enjoyed the corporate hotels, the big chains etc because people do make it. Premier Inn beds are great for example. Malmaison and Du Vin are great for affordable, higher end of mid range hotels.

If I had to choose somewhere though? I'll always lean to either a lovely Airbnb so I can cook and they can relax. Or a smaller chain/independent hotel so it has that quirky deco, the sort I like so much. And getting it for the best rate. Ideally, most of the time, with free upgrades.

It's a good idea (if you can) to look at Sunday stayovers or check third party companies so you can get the best rate.

I'm quite fortunate in that I've been able to stay at a lot of hotels over the years - Soho House (Babington House etc) are truly beautiful and a Fabber introduced me to that group this year (which I'm very thankful about!).

I like hotels which have a decadent, dark interior, a house scent, candles, a honesty bar and really good room service. And a freestanding bath tub/big rainfall walk in shower. It's the ambience for me. The fact I can switch off and leave my day to day life behind whilst immersing myself in a bubble of decadent hedonism without a care in the world.

I'm currently letting someone else choose the hotel. If you know me, you'll know that this is a Big Thing for me. I'm happier choosing.

I belong to Accor hotels. Covid spoilt a lot of them. Despite a few niggly bits. Room was spacious. Bed massive. Bath and shower. Breakfast was delicious. Not used one for a couple of years.

But a decent Prem or Village does the trick just as well and I’m quite happy with anywhere that has a decent bed and isn’t too noisy. I prefer to be making the noise

Marriott is always a pleasant step up from the Travelodge/Premier Inn. I like their bougie toiletries. Smells like I've been at the spa!

I'd like to try a couple of the boutique places near me though, one has got the most amazing decor.

Hotel bars can be great places (depending upon the hotel). Often a really good vibe about them, the barkeep often sets the tone.
