FabSwingers.com forum: Pics that are 10 years old or more...

I don't know about you lot but I know my face and body shape have changed alot in 10 years (even the last 5!) With the age of almost everyone having a camera in their hands, why do I keep getting messages from dudes with pics that are older than some of my knickers? (It's true, some of my knickers are at least 4 years old!).

Obviously it might be a confidence thing but it's almost the same as women using a filter (not the dog earred one).

Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me?

Oh god yes, fab profile absolutely but sending a face pic with the intention of maybe meeting...no lol

It doesn't bother me if they have other up to date photos

However I agree ,I've changed alot over the years and I think it's misrepresentation if you just have pics from years & years ago.

I've seen a profile on here that's pic is from 2009 and that's the only one.

If I'm being honest I have found that I don't think I'm any good at taking pics of myself not to sure if it's because I'm using the camera on my screen instead of the camera on the back of my phone

All the cool kids use the back camera these days apparently to take selfies...it's like going old school with our camera, the only upside is we don't have to wait 7 days to see the results!

I think this is it. If it's all they've got (or to be honest, poor quality recent pics too), but I'm careful not to be too hypocritical as some of my pics are a few years old now, too...

Some of our oldest pics are five years old now but I keep the ones I like - along with plenty new ones. If it's "let's send a face pic" crunch time then it's always an up to date one. Not from miles away... Or with someone else scribbled out... Or blurry... Or wearing sunglasses.

Weirdly we all have a camera in our pocket now… so not being able to take a new face pic if you want to ultimately have “the sex” is a bit of a cop out to say the least when I’m chatting with a view to meet them though.

My pics of Carol are i know quite oldish but they are MY favourite ones of her in her prime plus she still looks as gorgeous and we always send recent ones if so desired but ffs its a no chance if people think shes turned into a Bella Emburg since then, our pics our choice

Providing they resemble the person a bit, I am not that particularly bothered. I am dreadfully camera shy so totally understand how uncomfortable and awkward selfies can make people feel plus more often than not, people look better in reality anyway.

Annoys me a lot yes! If the only pics on your profile are 2+ years old I’m most likely going to ignore and assume you picked up a lot of weight or are hiding something else ! We all have cameras, easy to add a new pic. I don’t mind people not deleting all pic, some we like to keep but I want to see one added this year at least
