What motivates you to be on here? To post the photos/threads/comments/statuses/veris you do? Have the bio you do? Whether they're positive or negative, they all form part of your fab experience.

Do you think about what you're doing? And finally - is it working for you?

(I was going to do a raunchier thread but it's too early! :D)

Is it working for us? That's hard to answer because I'm at one of those points of fab that I don't know why I'm here, at the moment I'm not overly interested in meeting people outside the social setting, I'm sure that'll change again.

Initially wanting to get laid and to look at the pictures of the beautiful women of Fab (the naked female body being the most perfect work of art in existence).

Now I am into the community side of it a bit more - getting to 'know' people on the Forums, using it as a space where I can express myself on topics that are normally considered outside the bounds of acceptable conversation. And it turns out there are interesting, articulate, beautiful people on here who I enjoy talking to so...I keep coming back.

Hey Meli.

Most of the time fab has been a bit of a boredom buster, an easy place to procrastinate. However over the years I've met and interacted with so many beautiful souls and that's what keeps me coming back.

When it comes to photos, ultimately I want a bit of attention, maybe a little ego boost if people say nice things as a result.

Sometimes I post things (on threads, status updates etc) because I hope that certain people will see them and it might spark a memory or raise a smile. A little nod to show them I'm thinking of them if I'm a little quiet, because life is so busy.

I suppose there's also possibilities, I guess that's ultimately what draws us all in here x

Hi Meli, for me it's somewhere I can come to escape from the real world, then maybe on the rare occasion meet someone socially!

I like the forums, I like reading the chats and will post if I have a view or thought on the post, there are forum posts that make me smile, laugh, leave me puzzled etc thats why I like the forums as you never know what you will find each day

I’m on here for so many reasons. And I post on the forums, post the pictures and videos I do, have the bio I do, post the statuses I do, all for different reasons.

I post on the forums because it’s fun and I like escaping into this world sometimes. Also to make friends with other non monogamous or open minded people.

I have the bio I do and post the statuses I do because I am not going to try and ‘sell’ myself on here. The bio and the statuses aren’t that serious because I personally don’t think that I need to to post a serious one. My many years of serious bios didn’t get me much or any further actually than this light hearted one.

And pics and videos? I post those because maybe I’m an exhibitionist. I don’t know. I definitely post those because fabs make me feel sexy and I like to feel sexy and desirable. Whether they come from women or not doesn’t bother me. I like to know that I’m attractive to someone.

Generally though? I’m really only motivated to come on here, make some poly or non monogamous friends, maybe find some lovers, just get myself out there and learn and experience new and enjoyable things.

Maybe this should be my new bio?

Different things at different times.

At the moment and for a while, it has been very little to do with sex. I think I am mostly here for the conversation, I am finding it quite interesting so far today, people sharing their thoughts. So the threads, essentially.

The photos, verifications etc are of relatively minor significance to me. I haven't used the search function for a long time.

Is it working? Well if something is enjoyable in itself, does it matter if it achieves a goal?

Two reasons

One. I like the “atmosphere” of a liberated group of people having consensual adult fun, the conversations, the meets and the general, being around people like me aspect.

Two. One day I might meet someone who is very much like me, an exhibitionist, who enjoys the ENM lifestyle, taking pics, meeting others and generally living a life less ordinary and we hit it off to who knows what end.
