Agree re: Harry Potter - although younger me would be mortified I'm saying that.

Star Wars - depends which ones you're talking about. The original trilogy holds up amazingly well for its use of practical effects and sense of adventure - I can understand why it was a sensation when it first came out. The prequel trilogy has given us so many memes!

Overall, I guess I disagree about Star Wars.

You know what, Bella, I was going to take the bait and reply to this but then I remembered we had the same discussion on another thread!

You really don't like one of the greatest epic fantasy film series ever, do you?

I think you should watch it with someone who knows the trivia associated with the films to truly appreciate what masterpieces of cinema they are and how passionate the people involved in them were.

I've tried both could not get into them, I have read The Hobbit I liked that but haven't bothered with the films.
