Are you here for social meets only?

If you stopped 'swinging' would you stay for social meets only?

Can social meets stay as social meets or would you allow them to generate into more?

I'm just curious as we (F and Mr) need to have a sit down and see what we want to do. I'm thinking just sticking around for social meets, and if down the line we all want to go further we can but there being no expectation of it.. Rather than most people will probably expect more once a social has happened.

I'm more than happy to meet people just for socials. This is as much a way to meet interesting like minded people that can be friends for me as it is to find people that may want to get naked with me. So yes - if you enjoy being on here stay around. If people have expectations when you have been clear otherwise - then that is on them!

I'm here for me and whatever I may find in my own way and time.

It is one reason why I value connection as much as I do. The sex is not an obligation it just happens, or it may not but I'm happy to just be here/there (wherever) with the connection.

So I'm here for that - forum, social, sex - so long as connection exists.

I don't think I ever expect more. It can move into more and back to less.

I am not even sure I see friends as less. No I don't think I do.

I do have expectations around honesty and trust. And I find the people I form friendships with usually emphasise the importance of this very early on.

We've made some good and close freinds on the scene. Naturally if we ever stopped swinging they would still be close freinds. The club and party environment is a lot of fun and well feel far more comfortable in that environment (not just in terms of clothing or lack of). So yes it seems totally logical you can stay and enjoy the scene purely socially. After all it is a big part of it for many. However we love the social side but we are also looking for the sexual side with the right people. So if you are purely social its so important to be clear with people from the outset about this and let them decide if they are happy to invest time knowing there is only a potential social connection on the table.

I'm absolutely only here for social meets. And I'm pretty clear about that in my profile.

If you enjoy the forum, and want to potentially just meet up with people socially, or even never meet another soul from fab and just fanny about in the forum, I'd say hang about. But be clear about it and don't lead anyone on, even if you flirt like a hussy on heat

I like the social meets - most of the people I chat with and meet with are social (waffles on Sunday with a Fab friend this weekend). With those friends there is no expectation of anything further, it is just nice meeting up (as Cede says with like minded and interesting people - I find people on Fab fascinating). There are some on Fab that I would like it to go further, but that is up to them and people's timetables and lives are busy (for me work dominates at the mo, and I can see that other than this w/end I may not have free time til Feb, so even socials will get squeezed out.

We’ve got friends on here that will just remain that. We enjoy the social side of the lifestyle.

But we also have friends with benefits too and we enjoy having the mix.

What you are asking is what we do anyway…make a connection first and then take it further if we all decide we’d like to. There’s never any pressure to take it further.

You can’t make people fancy you in a sexual way, on fab or anywhere else. So I always kind of met in a social way. Never expecting anything more.

So I’d probably lean towards that anyway.

I only meet socially as there are many people on here I like to spend time with, and we have mutually agreed we won’t be sexual partners for many different reasons but still enjoy each other’s company.

I don’t think there’s right or wrong way of doing Fab, as long as it’s giving you the joy.

We're only very occasional sex havers with others but even then, I think we'd hang around for the social side if we ever stopped

No. I do really enjoy the social side of swinging and thoroughly enjoy meeting new people in the scene, but I also love the sex. Definitely here to enjoy sex with different people.

If you enjoy the social side then stick with it. I put out coffee meets now and then and will usually pick unverified people from the deluge of responses to give them their first verification that they are indeed a real human

The way I see your post OP, is that you make it clear that it’s only social meets. Don’t even mention the possibility of that changing down the line.

If you find that you get that urge during a social, you can let that/those individual/people know there and then.
