I dig it. But would you allow someone to wear this fit to your wedding?

I said no to my little brother but my fiancé said yes.

Just a light thread while I’m on the shitter.

You and your fiance are the important people let him wear what he wants.

Just don't let him be in the photos.

Now wash your hands

Let him wear what he’s comfortable in.

Oi, no sticking up for him. He’s my younger brother so he has to do what I say

Air force ones are a good look with a suit. If you want your wedding to have that vibe.

If not tell him to smarten up and get the polish out

Doughnut and all our combined sons and his best man all wore converse to our wedding!

Our wedding was a geeky type of wedding though so didn't look like a normal wedding party, we had a friend in her comic book suit, one came in shorts and mad shirt, we didn't care what people looked like as long as they were comfy and happy.

No body tells me what to wear, you’ve invited me to your wedding, I’ll wear what I darn well please.

local, but not too local

Depends entirely upon the suit, trainers, and overall vibe.

Formal do, no.

Casual do, maybe.

Depends if they're decent or not. Limited edition Jordans or something then yes I encourage it. Something shit like Reebok Classics or Yeezys can gtfo tho

Converse with a suit can work well...

Or a pair of docs

I host weddings regularly where I work, about half have some complete tool who clearly thinks they are cool and edgy by wearing trainers with their suit.

They do not look cool and edgy. They look stupid.

That said, there was one wedding where it was part of the theme, all wore chucks, even the bride, though hers were white. It worked well.

I'd say absolutely not for the ceremony but if he wants to pop some Converse on for the reception, go for it

If the Mrs has said yes, who are you to argue?

For the record, I completely agree with her which won’t be a surprise to you

Why have I read this as “training with a slut”

I need a life and new reading glasses, perhaps.

Why not, you have seen the runaway bride. Surely equality will allow the runaway bridegroom.

How about a compromise...

If he hasn't already got a pair, get him to buy a pair of black (or navy) plimsolls with matching soles...

A quick search on Google, you can get a pair on Amazon for £7.99. I've got a pair of women's from Primark for same sort of prices. With lace or slip-ons.

Just around the corner

I’m not a fan, but some people can pull it off. Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer often rocks a three piece suit and sneakers.
