FabSwingers.com forum: I’m STILL in the in between stages of growing my hair

I cut my hair unbelievably short at the beginning of May. Here we are in September and it’s still too short for canerows apparently.

I’m dying. Taper fades aren’t lasting as long. I need haircuts more often. I know it’ll be worth it soon but I’m getting urges to just give up

Mine's at the "my sideways sweeping fringe is falling forwards because it's too long" stage. I booked a hairdresser appointment but they've nothing I can go to until a week on Friday, after work. So, I'll be a scruffy git till then, especially in all this wind and rain. It's starting to grow over my ears too

Apparently the real tricks are scalp health and preventing breakage at the ends. I slap oil on the last half an inch or so after I wash it.

Update: my hair is now long enough to twist so I think I’ll spend my day tomorrow trying to do that if I can manage to do some decent partings. It’ll take me all day but bank holiday innit
