If you have binoculars and you want to see the asteroid it is now moving through Ursa Major (The Great Bear). To find that all you have to do is look at the Moon and then turn around 180degrees and look up about halfway between the horizon and directly above you. By 11pm it will have moved off and you won't see it anymore.
