Do you sometimes get messaged and especially winked by people that you wonder why they would do that when there is nothing compatible between the ptofiles and I mean nothing. I am not really bothered, just wondering wether people just go down the list and keep winking at everyone.

I send a message to those I feel confident to open a conversation with but I wink at those I feel a conversation may not occur

My technique is somewhat accurate but meh, if I get no response then fine and if a wink is not reciprocated then fine too

Quite a lot, some seem interesting people but when you try to have a conversation with them , they either go into full on weird fetish mode instantly or have the conversation skills of a slug, both are annoying.

I definately get that. Is when there is nothing obvious as to why this person would wink. If I am vegetarian would not be going to the butchers for my shopping, would I? Not an issue though, just like to understand things. Hence the question

We don’t check winks but yes we get lots of messages from people who are the exact opposite to what we are looking for with normally the caption “just thought try my luck”

OP I find that the filters that block unverified, non site supporting, blank profiles a very good way to stop the weirdos.

They just wink/ friend request/ message "hi" to every profile online in a 200 mile radius.

It's not personal, they just got fed up of never getting replies so don't waste any time reading profiles.

You are right and what is strange that they often have filters and though the keep viewing your profile you can't view theirs and in some cases profile is totally hidden. Oh well, each to their own
