We're always hearing and talking about things we would change about ourselves. So let's go the other way - what would you absolutely not change about yourself under any circumstances?

Lots of things!

My mind. My resilience. My heart. I thought it was a weakness to care about others and shut it off and people out for many years. Now, regardless of what happens in my life, I'm always going to embrace the fact that I feel and care. Even if it does make me vulnerable to hurt.

Oh and my inability to answer with a short sentence.

Waffle maketh the Meli, or something like that!

But mine is similar: I care for others and am empathetic. I am calm and not easily ruffled. I like that about myself.

I don't have any but I like it on other people when they've got something artistic.

I wouldnt change a few things:-

My bounceback ability even against the odds. My personality and sense of humour shining through during conversations.

Seeing the good in everyone and treating them as I want to be treated.

Agreed, but I consider honesty to be a consequence of having those values.

Vulnerability is the risk we take for deeper experiences.

And why limit yourself to one sentence when you have a lot to say?

That's brilliant! Really tickled me, probably going to use it.

Have you always been calm? It's something I'd like to try, one day. :D Caring about others is a strength. Showing that? Even more so.

I won't change my penchant for shoes, my letters and missives that I send to those wonderful people on here and I won't change my reluctance to accept the ongoing drama that seems to prevail.

"We're always hearing and talking about things we would change about ourselves. So let's go the other way - what would you absolutely not change about yourself under any circumstances? "

Anything.

Because if I wasn’t happy with something I’d already be changing it.
