Just getting through the final series of Black Books with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey. One of my favourites next to Spaced and Father Ted.

What were your favourites?

Spaced and Black Books were 2000's! But good choices!

Dylan Moran is a great writer, his stand up is brilliant.

I used to like Game On. The first series anyway, went downhill after that.

Bottom still cracks me up watching it back now. Must be the child in me!

Big Train and Smack the Pony were good - as were the Scottish series like Naked Video (birthplace of Rab C Nexbitt) Absolutely and Chewin the Fat.

I loved Nathan Barley, although it didn't quite catch on.

Going a bit further back, Nightingales was a personal favourite.

But perhaps the king of all - Brass Eye

Bottom was just one of those absolutely amazing and original comedies, real life cartoon violence coupled with perfect comic pacing from Mayall and Edmondson - the stage shows were incredible too

Anyone remember Chelmsford 123. About Romans and barbarians in Chelmsford , think it was early nineties. Excellent show!

Yes - I think it was The Day Today I was remembering, with Alan Partridge doing the sports reports IIRC. Genius.

Lol! Is right. Most people look at me like I've got two heads when I mention that programme.

Any fans of the under-rated filthy rich and catflap. Or one called over the rainbow? They lived above a pub?
