The crucifiction, or maybe the tomb for the next couple of days.

Let's settle what actually DID happen

Hitler dying - to answer whether he did or didn't kill himself! Beginning of time - big bang or magical man who built the world in a week and who we must worship!

Salem witch trials

I think it's a fascinating aspect of humanity the way it can turn on itself and scapegoat.

It would be interesting to see if anyone recognised what was happening.

Maybe not when we invented concentration camps in the Boer war and then allowed typhoid to decimate 75% of the Boer population though?

I’d like to know if Katherine and Arthur did or didn’t.

The princes - was it Richard III? I don’t think so. Margaret Beaufort…? Maybe…

Lindisfarne in 793.

I wouldn’t mind pinpointing exactly where John lost the jewels. Just out of curiosity of course.

I have a friend and ex colleague who was in the crowd with her family when Mussolini declared war, she was only a baby at the time.

Okehampton

When the giants built Stonehenge or when the aliens built the pyramids.

But seriously the end of the Second World War when it was announced that emotional soup must have been amazing/sorrowful/joyful/reflective to behold (I know some will find this weird, but human expressions of emotion en masse fascinate me)

Love Avebury.

Had some great chats with an old boy who had the shop opposite the Pub.

Would love to know what really happened there.

There’s no debate. Read Hugh Trevor Roper on it. It’s the best read. All of the big wigs of the third Reich in that bunker in despair. Always makes me happy to think of how their hate ended up in a well of misery, of their own making.

Similarly, the Christmas when a temporary truce was called for the soldiers to play football. Imagine having to go back to killing each other after that
