Our 1st social

Inverness

We are attending our 1st social meeting soon and are not sure what to expect or what to wear. Any suggestions on dress codes or how far or not things may progress on the night. Is a social just exactly that or if there is mutual interest, does soft play happen etc.

Sorry, we are new and learning and don’t want to embarrass ourselves or anyone else.

Wear clothes you'd wear on an ordinary might out. Every social we have ever been to use been strictly social only, especially if it's in a pub or other public place

Is it a social with someone you've been chatting to or one of the large organised socials?

The larger ones sometimes have a dress code, otherwise I'd just dress for the place - coffee - casual, bar - dress.

For us socials are socials only although we've had one that ended up in the bedroom.

We are new to this too. Our first social only happened a few weeks ago, I wore a dress that I would normally wear and wore lovely lingerie. I love wearing them anyway and thought If things were to move in the bedroom, I would at least feel good. I think wear what you are comfortable in as sexy comes from being comfortable!!
