Valentine's dilemma

Sheffield

So one of my fbs (who I know would like more) invited me to the movies. One the one hand it's a worthy documentary in Spanish about living under a dictator.

One the other it's Valentine's day and we're off to the cinema ( took me a while to realise the date).

So far so maybe not a date...

I just checked the listings and they're showing one of my favorite films of all time. OF ALL TIME!

But only today. Cos it's a sweet, classic romantic comedy.

So how do I persuade my fb to go see Roman Holiday instead of worthy sub-titled documentary and still have it not be a date?

Femme beat me to it.

If I went to the cinema with my best friend, it wouldn't necessarily be a date. Just tell him "it's not a date" Job done.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Are they at the same time or can you see both films?

This not a date date on this particular date has had you worried, you've mentioned it a few times now. I think you need to be really clear about your parameters for tonight. Then enjoy.

Simples - forget your 'glasses' and say you can't read the subtitles

Forgetting my glasses would lead to driving into a wall!

We saw the documentary. We were both a little bit late so I didn't feel like I could question his choice while stood at the ticket office...

I hope it was a good film. If you were both a little late and you're home now then it wasn't a very Valentiney date, so all is well.

Gravesend

Roman holiday would definitely have been more romantic.
