Outdated security config…

Ok so this is really pissing me off, I can access fab on my mobile (o2 provider) when on wifi with no problems, but as soon as I’m out of wifi and onto 5g / 4g I get the error about secure connection cannot be established because of an outdated security config.. I can click advanced and visit website anyway but it just won’t let me onto the page, I’ve checked and my age restrictions are turned off, all of the fixes like removing cache and website data etc haven’t worked. Does anyone else have this ? Any idea out to get around it ? I’d love to be able to access fab on my mobile data when I’m not in the house !

No idea. I just go through a VPN and have had no issues.

So you're using a VPN over 4g?

I found that really hard on the phone battery.

I have my own VPN server at home and connect via that. It doesn't seem to be as resource hungry as using commercial VPN sw.

Just tried it (turning off wifi and turning on the nord vpn on my phone) and it works !! It’s been kissed me off for weeks and it was as simple as that … thank you

Not sure if it's the same issue, but I had to call 02,and request they gave me access to erm adult sites.

Fairly straight forward process, you know the usual blood sample/ finger prints/ DNA check/ references/

thank you, the vpn has sorted it but I have checked my o2 settings and my adult restrictions are off so it shouldn’t be that, either way I have a workaround so I’m a happy fabber again.
