Spotify hardware tech advice needed

Does anyone have any recommendations as to a dedicated controller for the Spotify in my bar. I don't want to use my phone as I'd like people to be able to pick it up and enter a song to be queued up. I did buy a cheap amazon tablet but its so slow .

The two guys that live next door to us bought an old iPad and mounted it on the wall. Spotify is always open and looks like a pub jukebox

An expensive tablet just seems a bit over the top just to use 1 application. My old tablet was fine but after a reset to remove all the shite that was on it, it was unable to download the new spotify app.

Does anyone know what ipad I could use ? Loads on ebay around £50 but will they be too old / unable to download latest spotify. ?
