Is it wise to give a copy of your ID or passport Photo to be a swinging club member ?

Yep, the club I use insist on photo ID and utility bill to prove address. It's not foolproof, by any means, but it makes me feel safer to know that there is a paper trail for everyone there.

Why do they do that? Its not a legal requirement is it?
