The men who've been 'bi' for ages and for whatever reason won't change their profile soon become clear enough I find.

I just had a few messages from a plain Straight, which I often do. That is a 'hide the interest' thing for sure (ie most aren't purely curious - they are simply bi).

Maybe bi-curious is just 'half hiding' it?

I think a lot of it is about 'hedging the bets', but you can't satisfy everyone on Fab you just can't. Some will demand x and while others will outright deny it.

It's best not to worry what the odd profiles asks for I say. It's like ticking every interest box and leaving your profile beguilingly empty! It probably works against you in the end.

The intense rush of inner heat from a man's body is very different to a woman's I find, as is their overall feel. The muscle feels like an engine. Many completely bisexual people like myself only have interests in relationships with one sex though (from me it's always women). I see my bisexuality simply as both heterosexual and homosexual, and my love and relationship interest is with women.

To me the word 'curiosity' suggests it's simply just that - looking to explore. I accept that people can be curious for absolutely ages though.

I do know some full-on bisexual men who have kept at 'Curious' for years though too!

I've always been bisexual (though I've had a few big gaps, some even in interest) and have never had any interest in a relationship with a man, even if we become quite close.

Bisexuality is interesting because for people who are interested in monogamy (as I am providing my partner is too), it kind of just 'filters away'.

It's certainly not the threat to relationships that a lot of people think it is. (There are plenty of people of all sexes out there for those who have decided to cheat! It's silly to think it multiplies.) But some people are afraid of bisexuality for sure (and prejudiced too - even traditionally amongst gays) - so I sometimes think of bisexuality as the last sexual taboo.

Maybe that social fear is a reason some are reluctant to 'fully' jump in too.

There are broad spectrums in many things. I like to think that "curious", whether it be a female or a male, means someone not adverse to pushing some boundaries on occasions - or sometimes 'sharing' a bit more than hetro's might.

If it's more than very occasional then I guess that's bi.

For an awful lot of men I think it comes down to liking cock, not men.
