I've had a massive confidence boost recently. Mainly because I've been pushed out of my comfort zone and it's not thrown me as much as I thought!

I drove to somewhere totally new last week, I drove back from this somewhere new on myself and accidentally went the wrong way - I stayed calm and trusted the satnav to get me back on track. I travelled to Manchester with someone I've never met before and attended a social I wouldn't normally have done. I chatted to loads of different people and didn't shy away.

I've really really come out of my shell this past week and I've loved it. That's not to say my husband has stopped me from being confident, but he's been my security blanket for the past 10 years and I've never needed anything or anybody else.

So if you think you can't do something, you absolutely can!

One more week until he is home
