Now, before I commit to my answer of naan bread.

Are we talking those crappy oval things you get in the supermarkets? Or are we talking those giant duvet sized things that one gets from the Indian restaurants?

Or your Nan's home made bread?

Frisbee I reckon. Javelin would risk getting aimed slightly downwards thus restricting distance travelled. And the others are… not as aerodynamic.

I'd make the exception off the duvet sized naan bread aha

That would have been more like an Atlas Stone lift

She weren’t a great baker.

Assuming we can tape the baguette to the javelin, I've greater hopes than the naan bread sellotaped to the frisbee.

Also, I'd have probably eaten the naan bread. Unbuttered baguettes, I can resist.

Used to take my Nan's bread to the footy years ago. Was great for chucking into the away end, bounced off a right good number of skulls it did.

What type of naan?

Herby garlic or that peshwari one? I doubt a keema could be thrown very far because of all the stuff in it

It's shape allows it to be thrown quite a velocity.

What about the trajectory path? Up in the air or straight across?

What about size? Would a small naan have a higher velocity? Or a large on covering a larger distance?

Javelin unless the baguette is strapped to it like the space shuttle and launches as the javelin starts a downward trajectory

I was quite good at javelin at school, but I'm old now and the shoulder is dodgy, so I'm going to go with frisbee...

...but love the idea of a naan-throwing championships!
