I'm buying Jack's biscuits.

They're not that bad, to be fair, but I'd have preferred some two-finger KitKats.

Do you, reader, compromise when your raising moths in your wallet instead of bucks?

I compromise on anything and everything to help stretch the cash further.

Can’t afford to be fussy these days.

"Are they dog biscuits?"

Jacks is budget brand.

Super cheap and varying levels of quality.

La la land

Depends I will and have switched to cheaper options. The own brand Worcester sauce was a disaster so had to revert back.

Well biscuits are something I usually go without anyway.

I am definitely buying and eating more vegetables and less meat.

Alcohol is definitely being consumed much less often.

I'm trying to think of my future more so I'm making small changes, one being boiling the kettle in the staff kitchen instead of going down to the cafe and buying a delicious coffee.

My dog is called Jack and I've never eaten his biscuits but as a kid I did eat Bonios

I try and find what I like but at the cheapest price possible. I find some named brands are completely overpriced, but some own brand items are a false economy.

I'd rather cut back the quantity than lower the quality, just like my meets on fab

Actual human ones.

I think Jacks's is the new Happy Shopper brand.

Sod that, I've recently learned that I'm worthy enough to have quality items instead of always picking the cheapest items.

I have to get a bus to my big supermarkets or get a delivery.

My son does the big shop though because I don't drive any more.

Behave.

Re my circumstances it centres on not having dependants, and no longer being a pauper uni student. So even though I earn less than the minimum wage (and no benefits), it's still more than I was living on as a student. So Costa coffee pods and pukka teas are my indulgences.

I don't have any dependents but my offspring and their offspring drain my bank dry

Im pretty much happy with any 35p packet of biscuit except for chocolate digestives. They have to be good ones, but I dont eat them anymore as they are more than 35p

Some cheap digestives are like eating cardboard.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I go without. My dogs get cheap cuts of chicken, butternut squash, carrots and own brand wheat biscuit type cereal... and treats. I get kenco coffee and milk. I will not go without those things and will not compromise on them.

Anything else if I can't afford it, I just don't get it.
