What was the last thing that made you burst with joy or happiness?

Feel free to contribute if it was only a wee pop, or slight leekage of joy or happiness too.

Ah Jennie you're an absolute star and it was fantastic to see you so happy and so... hilariously sharp. And lovely.

You deserve all the acceptance.

My daughter got a job.

She's been trying, well not that long to be honest, but it was getting her down.

She was so made up, her little face looked just like it did when she was little and she did something like tie a shoelace.

Now it's the careful what you wish for stage

I'm sure there's a Smiths lyric that reflects that story.

I'm throwing out the links today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjPhzgxe3L0

I don't know, it makes me smile. But then there are very positive associations, sat in the passenger seat watching my wife bopping along without a care in the world.

That feeling of none of the bs matters: the world can go up in flames - this is what it's all about.

We need the shit sometimes to make us realise how special something is. The smiths were good at capturing the essence of that. Imagine how boring it would be if everything was always perfect. Heaven must be hell.

I used to find it really hard to connect to joy. I still don't always get the big emotion either. A trickle of happiness, joy or excitement is still valid.
