This isn’t a situation that happens to me a lot, I need your help.

Someone left me a wink but when I looked on the page for who, it didn’t list a new one. I don’t delete them so does that mean it was someone who’s winked me before?

I occasionally get them on the back of a forum game so obviously a few are from some lovely people. A few are from weirdos too, so how do I tell?

I know, first world problems, right?

I click on forum name at top it should say winked or messaged op.

It was probably from an account that has been removed - either by the user or the admins. There's been a few of these recently where the admins have removed fake users

We've had the same many times, it's probably a glitch. Messages are the way to go!
