I hear you.

Sundays used to be a quiet day of rest, with the occasional strimmer; hedge-trimmer, or lawnmower being used.

Now it's car after car after car going past and the neighbour in his shed with his skill saw always on.

Last night I went to bed with the sound of a group of shrieking women ( why is it always women ) believing they could sing. A great sounding party a few gardens from me but once I lay down ..... zzzzzzzzz. Don't know what time it finished

Their singing was shite tho

He must be building a bloody Ark. He's at it every weekend.

He's actually been quiet this afternoon.

We have some here but they're pretty quiet. It's magpies who disturb our peace.

I was babysitting in a hot flat so had windows and balcony doors open.

There were people on the green talking loudly until gone 1am.

It's not just seagulls but they're a significant factor, we have magpies too but I find their chatter quite endearing.

It's more likely to be a body.

It wasn't as bad as the last time I babysat and there was a party with an MC in a flat opposite.

That was another 2am sleep job.

Gah! Have you got work tomorrow?

It's gone very quiet here now. This makes me suspect that all our neighbours are on fab and have read this

I have indeed. Think it's going to be a long week.

At least it's rained here so I may actually get to shut the windows so it'll be quieter and cooler to sleep.

Perhaps they're all going to watch the rugby? Think that may be the case here

Try living close to the airport in high season

They'll go one way or another, Above my rear garden. Missed the red-arrows flying past this afternoon doing their spreading out but caught the smoke afterwards

No thank you . I'd like to see the red arrows though.

We do get the coastguard helicopter out a lot, night and day and a Chinook regularly flies along the coast.

Years ago we trecked over fields to so.e headland in Corwall to watch the red arrows. It was so worth it, they literally flew very close over our heads as we were so high up.

I mean I’ve met his mrs and I’d probably want any excuse to be out of the house too but seriously, why not golf or fishing or something
