Are you a wet & dirty person, do you get hands on in any situation without a thought for getting your hands dirty, messing up your hair, or getting your clothes mucky? Or.. would you always choose a hotel over camping, leave the DIY to the tradesmen, and keep looking pristine at all costs?

I definitely fit into the first category.

La la land

Grew up on a farm so I don't mind getting dirty or getting stuck in in an emergency.

DIY currently skimming the ceiling, got fed up of waiting and paying people to do a job I could do myself.

But I hate camping with a passion even though we do it with the kids. I like my bed and bathroom

I would *always* choose an hotel over camping but if I know a wet and dirty job needs doing I'm happy to get stuck in.

These days I wouldn't generally "choose" camping, but I can't imagine going to a festival and them staying in a hotel either.

We renovated a house in France. No hot water for weeks, used to leave the hose in the sun and get a hot shower that way. Worked on a farm and have had horses so yes happy to get grubby,but hate camping.
