The Naked Cyclist

Chelmsford

A self styled naturist and naked cyclist by the North Wales Police while he was on a charity bike ride. Apparently it's not an offence to be naked in public if it's not for sexual gratification.

They took him to the police station in the back of a police car but later released him. Does anyone know if you need a special saddle to ride naked. It's all over the news

When it was all over the news Tom, did it say what the policed did with the self styled naturist and naked cyclist?

I have offered a suggestion, but could think of many more...

South Wales

If he wants to cycle down this way I’d massage some feeling back into his balls.

I’d also dab his brow and give him an orange slice to suck on.

Doesn’t London have naked bike rides?

I had a very tiny g string on whole riding my bike. See pics on profile. I was saddle sore, but not sure if it was the saddle, or other things I'd been riding that week.

I'm afraid I do. Don't look at when it aired, it's scary.

Me and my partner cycled naked from John O Groats to Lands End last summer, raising money for Rewilding Britain and MIND.

The cyclist you mention is a friend's of ours

No, it's not illegal to be naked in public unless you are being sexual or harassing someone.

If you are not setting out to offend anyone or being sexual then it's simply not wearing clothes, anyone who doesn't like it can simply look the other way.

The law regarding this hasn't changed, but after all the cases involving the Naked Rambler the home office changed the interpretation of the law. In a nutshell it used to be that if someone is offended then a crime has been committed, but now it's about the intention to offend... no intention, no harassing behaviour, no sexual conduct or suggestions ... just going about your business while not wearing clothes and it's not illegal.

Btw we were called the "Free Wilders". Google us.. Loads of articles discussing the legality of being naked in public.
