I don’t know if this has been asked before but I am curious to get peoples opinions on the kiss that overshadowed the women’s World Cup final.

I am interested to hear what views people have.

I think he was out of order and totally in the wrong. He got excited in the moment and went too far. He doesn’t have any accountability. Should he lose his job? I don’t know, but it sounds like he’s a bad a character and this was just the tip of the iceberg. It is a massive shame it’s totally overshadowed Spain’s triumph

My take is this is not normal or acceptable behaviour. It’s behaviour that is deserving at least of firing imo. And I think his actions since and the actions of those in support of him are classic actions of powerful men that have believed their entire lives that they are entitled to do whatever they want to women without consequence.

I suspect the mood of the moment got the better of him and he acted emotionally, in the "moment"

I believe, given his position and the esteemed company he was in, he should not have acted that way.

I know he has acted poorly ever since and has massively missjudged the room.

His actions since the incident suggest bullish, macho, bravissimo behaviours which are poor character traits, especially for a man in his position.

If he'd come straight out and apologised, said that he understood his actions were wrong, offered his resignation and acted like a decent, civilised human being there's a good chance this would have been yesterday's chip wrappers.

Instead he's acted like an arrogant, lieing, ignorant bully.

And I hope like all bullys should, he'll get (figuratively) punched on the nose, the twunt.

This forum has an easy Search if you are genuinely interested. There was a number of threads on the go, at least one filled up if I remember.

You have to realise you get the usual polarised stuff.

This in a nutshell.

He’s made it bigger than what it was - he could have climbed down and accepted his fate but to then say she consented and getting everyone involved and then saying he was quitting and didn’t, it just smacks of macho behaviour and I can do what I want!

He still hasn’t resigned!

Now everyone else has either resigned, been sacked or refusing to play and no one is celebrating that they won the World Cup, which is very sad!

Yup.

His actions have had a ripple effect, tearing apart the team and everything around it.

Winning the World Cup should be what everyone talks about and remembers.

Instead.........this prick.

And the idiot actually grabbed his crotch during the game (and of course has contradicted Hermoso's account of it being unexpected) so this is not an isolated event.

But it's ultimately good for Spanish football as it's quite a macho place and is currently looking hard at itself.

So that is not a bad thing.

You can't do nuffin anymore inni

He should have apologised, simple as that.

P.S. you can post threads on any topic within forum rules. Even if it's been posted before. If people don't want to discuss the subject again they can easily not.

Luis is a handsome man, full of testosterone, rich, powerful. Jenni should be GRATEFUL.

Women: they fuckin’ LOVE it! *

It's only acceptable if he also kisses male players in the same way.

I think it's like a French kiss, but with a Spanish twist.
