couple, us we him her.

Hate it.

We went to the beach yesterday studland bay to be exact.

Normally we go to our local beaches which are pebbles.

Whilst sand may feel nice underfoot it gets everywhere and is a blooming pain.

As long as you pack appropriate footwear and something decent to lay on pebbles every time thanks.

Somewhere In The Ether…

The worst thing is sand between your toes.

I hate that; it irks me most grievously!

I don't like sand.

It's course, and rough, and irritating. And it gets everywhere.

Sagittarius A

I've spent plenty of time living on beaches.

It gets everywhere, but then I got used to it. Even liked it, well there's some places it gets that are always irritating.

And then the shame as an adult, of having to sit on the wall with all the grumpy sand hating kids and towelling every last grain of sand off your feet before you'll ever put your shoe back on thankyou very much.

I quite like sand though. Pebbles are just too painful to walk and lie on and when you do lie on them your body gets imprinted with pebble patterns.

You can't build sandcastles with pebbles.

Thanks Anakin, I came here for this comment. However it's not all soft and smooth here.

The worst instance of sand related misery for me was one time I visited Southport beach.

The beach itself was vast and beautiful….but then the wind suddenly got up.

Strewth! - sandblasting is rather painful and it certainly ain’t much fun it turns out

I can't not think of it whenever sand is mentioned!
