Hi everyone.

Just a little nit picking here.

As a keen amateur photographer, i always like to get the best out of the subject.

I have taken lots of boudoir pics over the years and one thing that i fund irritating is labels.

It is nice to capture ladies in their lingerie, but the little labels with the information on them are always on show.

I always try to tuck them away into the hem and have even asked if they can be cut off.

Always a better pic in my view.

Agree!! Why on earth do they think they look sexy in a skimpy red thong with ASDA GEORGE hanging out the back of it??!

Any worthwhile boudoir photographer I’ve ever worked with has provided clients a little FAQ style document with helpful details.

One that’s always been constant across reputable, recognised, professionals across the boudoir industry has always been ‘please cut off labels as they don’t photograph well’.

I’ve done a dozen or more boudoir shoots myself wearing lingerie, etc. and even in my every day wear of lingerie I always cut off the labels. Especially from tiny knickers. I was once thankful to a gentleman who had scissors in his bathroom where I went in to change into lingerie. What a brilliant idea I thought, as I cut off the label that poked through my thong underwear that I’d expertly paired with a stunning basque. More of this should happen. Well placed scissors, I mean.

I have a penchant for 'reportage' photography, the natural look, and therefore a provocative and suggestively placed label will always win me over.

You wouldn't obscure the prancing horse from a Ferrari...why do it to a lady?
