Great way to find out if they are a biscuit dunker or a saucer slurper.

It's only an interview when there's a request to turn up dressed in a suit and to be interrogated with questions regarding your past.

E.g. childhood, what you earn

If you feel like a coffee is too intense then suggest a drink first & some kind of activity along with it. That way you’ve conversed initially but have said activity to fall back on if it gets awkward. If it’s going well you can talk some more and poke fun at each other, if it’s going shite you play crazy golf(example)drink your drinks and say goodbye. Very least you both had a drink and had a laugh…

A date to me is something more intimate... where you both have expressed an interest in each other

I reckon, if I met for coffee and the guy was genuine and nice…. I would find somewhere to have fun, and then keep in touch for more fun in the future.

Is that not the way it used to be?

If it’s going shit, I’d not stick around beyond a coffee/drink. In fact, I’d drink my coffee so fast to end it quickly.

"Can I have tea ? Xx"

Yessss I was gunna ask the same thing, where I'm from tea is referred to as a brew, and coffee is,well it is what it is,not my cup of tea anyway,

Would you like to go for coffee sounds a bit formal

Do you fancy a brew however doesn't

I am with you there meet up for a brew is more relaxed and less formal sounding.

Also I don't like the smell of coffee let alone the taste.
