I would say the first task if you are elected as Pope is a hostile merger with the Muslims to help simplify religion and reduce overheads.

That would be a miracle and might require some re-writing of the Bible.

Legends usually have some sort of root so I don't dismiss Joan as entirely fictious.

St Peter, the first pope, was married and had several children. Jesus didn't seem to mind.

There have been thirty-nine popes since 1585. Not one of them were known to have been sexually active during their papacies.
