Having added Pampas Grass in the back garden this year (looks great by the way), we didn't realise the innuendo, until the gardener that did the planting mentioned it, having a hot tub as well -). Is this really a "sign"? Or Urban Myth.

OOh eer Misses slip or subliminal message to "those that know" ha ha!

Thoughts please?

Very retro, apparently it's pineapples currently (guess you don't need home ownership for that!)

Urban myth that a lot of swingers have latched onto.

Upside down pineapples to boot

My sis just came back from a cruise and she took photos of upside down pineapples on people’s doors haha, she was a tad surprised I knew what it meant as she didn’t

Pampas grass has long been a sign for swingers, my nan told me a story about her neighbour having it planted in their garden all the way back in the 70's!

Not sure if it is still "a sign" or not to be honest.

Not new then apparently! Just an old one - the gardener was "mature" to be fair...

We had pampas grass in our front garden in the 70s, as did several of my parents friends in the village. Blissfully unaware of what it symbolized until I joined Fab
