Visited a lovely market yesterday. Few of the usual veg and clothes stalls some nice cheese, bakery and street food stalls and most ofvtge others were art and craft second hand silver and objet d'art. If you were setting up your own stall, what would you be selling?

And why not? We often like those little things that are not necessarily practical but as you say just pretty and fluffy and lift your spirit.

the land of tall tales and yarn

I've recently gotten into upcycling pieces of furniture people no longer want. I think it's better to reuse than dispose. So maybe some of those pieces. Although not sure I'd turn a profit

I used to crochet when I was younger. I didn't like using wool, just the fine cotton that was usually used in doilies and edging etc.

I love jewellery, but I have noticed that more people buy cute stuff than jewellery. People look at jewellery and handle it, but don't buy it.

Hampshire/Dorset

All things catty...

Personalised gifts... I had one of those names you could never find on the badges, pencils, signs as a child (and then I gave my son an unusual name too) I liked the markets in Spain as they always had a little old Chinese guy doing things such as names on a stone for a pendant, engraving a silver bangle or painting the fancy letters.

"Books, altho I probably wouldn't sell many be to busy reading them!"

I’d spend my earnings at your stall (if I could convince you to give up a few books).

I’d sell my photos that would bring peace and calm to your home and take bookings to take family or boudoir photos.
