When has the universe given you a nudge in the right direction or intuition has tickled your spidery senses?

It’s 10 years to the day almost that Id left home early as usual but parked round the corner waiting for her to drive to work before returning to the flat and packing up all my stuff so I could escape.

The reason? She’d become very controlling and still 99% sure she’d had the iud removed. That was the moment of clarity required to get out.

Mentally a bit of rebuilding was in order but life lessons learned there.

Glad you learnt a lesson there OP.

I'm not going to post mine because I don't think it's quite fair and I think dignity is important. And respect for another person.

I do think sometimes you just know. Intuition, some part of you that puts the pieces together. It's good when you're able to listen to it.

Glad things are better for you now OP!

My intuition story is a tad different...I was on my way to be picked up after work years ago. I began walking the path next to our multi storey car park, when all of a sudden I felt the need to move further away from the road. A bus passes and a large object comes flying down from the top of the car park, shattering on the pavement where I would have ended up. I was more than a little freaked out and thanked my gut that day!!

10 months ago I left my wife because I was sure she was cheating.

I was accused of being controlling, paranoid ect but bit by bit the lies unravelled, truth came out and I was proved right.. many times.

Saying no all three times when he asked to get back together. I really wanted to say yes the first time but my instinct said it was just his fear and regret talking.

I would have had the life others find easier to understand but I wouldn't have the life I have now and which I love, if I had said yes.

I am glad he ended it even if he isn't. I am glad I saw even in that moment that I would be happy again.
