Would you meet a person without seeing their face?

I had a message with a gentleman that doesn't want to send a face pic in a message on here because he doesn't trust it.

I obviously wished him a good weekend but its made me wonder who would meet a person without seeing their face?

I can chat to a person unexpectedly if I was out wether they are my type or not but to go meet a person getting my hopes up they'll be my type would be awkward to find their not now I'm having to find conversation with them
