Spent the weekend looking at this, the fees Amazon charge is daylight robbery! 50-60% fees to sell and hold stock!

There must be an easier way to make money!?!

So many people think it’s some kind easy money, and because they are basically lazy & unemployable somehow they would have success in business.

My online businesses have been as much often more work than full time jobs.

It’s harder now than 10 -20 years ago but at the same time many more tools to disrupt and disinter-mediate so you need to be smarter to use tools like Amazon Turk and Fiveer and SMM replaced SEO and SEM which is is a game changer, where’s 10-20 years ago you could just buy web position gold , manage AdWords and be guaranteed £10K a month in any sector

Part of my business is Amazon and Amazon prime. The fees are high but I sell 50 times more through prime. So for a hypothetical example - I sell something on Amazon merchant and make a tenner, I sell 5 of those a day. I sell it on prime and make a fiver but I sell 15 or 20 a day. There is a lot of work goes into it though. I’ve been doing this years and am happy to answer any questions on PM.

What’s the fastest delivery in the UK ? in the UAE many of my Prime sales are same day now.

Do you ever purposely try to be the most expensive ?

Next day for prime. Although I think there’s same day options on some things.

I used to spend hours trying to be the cheapest but it doesn’t work like that. It seems to take into account reviews/amount of sales and all sorts to win the buy box, it’s not necessarily the cheapest.
