The word picky is quite an expansive term.

I would say I know what I like and I always do my due diligence before I meet someone.

Each to their own and live and let live.

Some call it having standards which always conjures up ideas of a swinging social hierarchy to some extent

I know what qualities I look for and I say hello

Manners go a long long way, even a polite thanks but no thanks

7 years here across 4 different profiles with 60-70 verifications plus a few where no verification was offered.

Only 10 percent of those led to sex.

That was by choice rather than circumstance.

I have said no a hell of a lot more than I've said yes in that time.

I like sex but I have never needed it so I'm very relaxed when I refuse it.

It's just how my sexual attraction functions.

I need to get to know people quite intimately first before sexual attraction forms.
