Yes I'm picky, as I've got the experience to tell me that when I've not been picky.

that not being picky smashed me to pieces, smashed my self-worth and self-esteem, through selling myself to the lowest bidder. So yes I'm picky these days, as I have worth for myself, and choose not to smash myself to pieces, through my behaviours. I have more Value for myself today.

The word picky is quite an expansive term.

I would say I know what I like and I always do my due diligence before I meet someone.

Each to their own and live and let live.

Some call it having standards which always conjures up ideas of a swinging social hierarchy to some extent

I know what qualities I look for and I say hello

Manners go a long long way, even a polite thanks but no thanks

Picky is perhaps the wrong word - but I do have preferences and standards. If there's no attraction, then it's not going to work for me.

The scope of those preferences is pretty wide ranging though.

I wouldn't say I am picky. I don't think there's anything wrong with a spontaneous meet just from the pure physical attraction, but in my opinion, the sex has always been better when you get that build up having gotten to know each other.

7 years here across 4 different profiles with 60-70 verifications plus a few where no verification was offered.

Only 10 percent of those led to sex.

That was by choice rather than circumstance.

I have said no a hell of a lot more than I've said yes in that time.

I like sex but I have never needed it so I'm very relaxed when I refuse it.

Yes incredibly, but it's not a conscious action.

It's just how my sexual attraction functions.

I need to get to know people quite intimately first before sexual attraction forms.

So in a way yes and no. I am quite open to the possibility with many people, but the drive actually forms with very few.
