Getting flustered

It is rare that it happens to me. But sometimes it does and sometimes it even takes me by surprise.

Like when someone says drink a tequila with me and looks at you in a way that somehow makes you decide that yes you do want to drink the tequila you previously declined and you are not sure how it happened but now you are a bit hot and bothered and all flustered.

So...

Tell me about a time you got all flustered?

Or when when you caused someone else to get all flustered?

Bonus points if you are also talking about a fellow forumite.

Ps thanks Meli

It would be far quicker for me to just cite circumstances in which I don't become flustered, especially since I can't think of any.

I am hoping flustered in a good way!?

I turned up to cater at a hen do and they had hired a naked butler ! He was stunning and a lot younger than me. I just had a stupid grin on my face and told him why because it really was hilarious. He was wearing a small apron to protect his bits and bobs but the end of his willy was showing out the bottom. We did have a brilliant laugh though.

I think I get flustered quite a lot. Certain people can have that effect on me with great ease and others it happens by surprise.

Last time I met someone new the nerves made me so flustered I nearly tripped over the chair in the bar we were in. Even after nervous first encounters, butterflies and nerves remain often, because I really quite like him, so I think there will always be those moments when I chat nonsense, blush or seem even more clumsy than usual.

Well, yes and no. Yes, inasmuch as I'm lost in the moment of that gorgeous butterfly-in-tummy feeling I get when I find myself overwhelmed by the attractiveness of a lovely woman. No, when I succumb to the inevitable hopeless befuddlement of what to say or how to make any kind of positive impression, leading to that hollow gutted feeling which accompanies the realisation that I may as well not have bothered even trying in the first place - again - such is my ineptitude.

Oh Amber!

I love that moment when someone's flustered. When words don't quite come out as intended. The flushed cheeks. It's really sexy, which is probably a weird way of describing it! Seeing your reaction gave me a tingle.

The last time someone made me flustered? This morning. It was a simple message but it was just... good. You know when someone unexpectedly shows they understand you? The real you. Not the Fab you. I blushed. For once I didn't know what to say in reply.

And yes, it's Mr Vascular. My videos are going to be *fire emote* soon.

See in a club that wouldn't phase me in the slightest. Watching my mother eye the waiters tip however...

I find this incredibly endearing. If someone fell over a chair because they were meeting me I would be tempted to ask them to stay down there so I could join them. I hope those moments continue for you

(Mr)

Despite my long history in the scene, plus if you have actually met me you may think I'm even cocky. But under that I can get very flustered and not very long ago started to have a full panic attack whilst licking someone's pussy during a 6 person gangbang. Was it good timing? Hell no

Long story but here is the last time I got flustered.

I was backstage at my friends gig when a fairly well known pop star came walking down the corridor and asked to meet us. I’m used to that kind of thing so don’t usually get bothered.

She worked her way around our group and made small talk with everyone and then when she got to me she held my hands and was shocked by how cold they are and started rubbing them and saying that old “cold hands warm heart” cliche. Then she started commenting about my eyes and eye lashes. Next thing she’s saying she’s felt like she’s known me for years, and that I have eyes that can see into someone’s soul…

then she drags me to a corridor and starts doing tarot cards and being very flirtatious.

I don’t usually get flustered but the situation was so weird that I really didn’t know what to do in that moment. My mind went blank, and then my friends tour manager came in and said “that woman’s trouble” and made a snipey comment to her asking about her boyfriend. And everything ended at that point.

Let's see... It's been a while.

Oh last one was a couple of days ago when a mate sent me a link to some promotional video, she's been asked to be one of the models/'faces' for a new website or something.

So I took a look and it was

I said to her yeah that's weirded me out: It felt like I was d*unk at a family do and my cousin was flirting with me.

I've not actually seen anyone in quite a while to be honest. There is one person who has some adorable mannerisms in conversation that have thrown my mind off track, in the past.

You know that where was I, what was I talking about sensation. Could just be my memory failing me though, I am rather old.

I don’t think I’ve ever made anyone flustered

I can’t remember getting flustered by anyone either. I do get nervous though. Terribly so. In fact it’s such a ball ache that it’s part of the reason I no longer meet.

The tour manager may have saved you from more than getting flustered there!

I've just realised I've never tasted lemon buttercream. I like lemon too, yet for some reason combining the too has just never occurred to me.

Yes, that's true. Sometimes, though, my inability to think of the right thing to say is compounded by my inability to interpret correctly the words and body language of the person I'm with. I say 'sometimes' - I really mean 'usually'... oh alright, 'always'.

Really

Sure, I've met people that I've grown to like very much.

But people generally don't have some kind of magical instant effect on me

It ruins the mood, but a bag on my head helps more with being ugly
