Morpeth

Absolutely, and the owners fined for daring to wear them. Same goes for Crocks, except I'd issue the fine with an added 40 lashes of the birch.

Hopefully that isn’t triggered when there are kids around

I barely wear any other footwear for 6 months of the year, so I'd be buggered! No ban!

prefer crocs, used to wear flip flops when I lived in SE Asia, but since being back in the UK the chosen casual footware is some slip ons or crocs.

Crocks do flip-flops!

They are the comfiest things ever. Did 40,000 steps a day in them on holiday a few years ago...

Delightful Bliss

My middle prong came out as I was walking, which caused me to have a bare foot on the floor and a flip flop round my ankle...

On that basis, Yes Tom. Melt them all...

I can't walk in them but as they are a requirement of the club I got ones with a back which has helped.

Make everyone wear two right ones, then they're flop flops instead

Milton Keynes

I remember being about 5-6 on holiday with my parents In Cornwall and my mum trying to make me and my brother wear flip flops

They were the most horrible things ever !

That was and will remain the only time in my life a flip flop will ever go near my feet !

Should be banned immediately and all burnt in the streets in huge piles whilst the fire is being fed by more rancid flip flop footwear

It will be like the ever lasting tyre fire in the Simpsons !!!

It should be a criminal offence against fashion and offenders should be made to walk bare footed through dog poo

I personally find them uncomfortable.

Why ban them though?

This world would be a boring place if all the things Tom doesn’t like were banned!!

I’m not disputing your appraisal of your first husband Candy, but with regard to flip flops, he does have a point

Suffer from that but found some memory foam ones that worked well.
