Afternoon you lovely lot

How do you rate your confidence in general.

Mine is quite low due to difficult ho_elife & I’m crippled with anxiety & self doubt.

Good afternoon to you as well

That’s a hard question in the public eye a 20 out off 10

Behind closed doors a -1000 out off 10

At work it’s high, I know that I’m good at it.

Personal life, flaky, much better than it was after many years of any confidence being nipped in the bud, hopefully good enough to know I can enjoy myself.

In general day to day life, I'm ok actually.

With men, that's a whole different story and I have zero confidence. But I don't stress about it anymore, I'm happy with no sex!

Overall? It's massively improving. Probably about a six? Maybe seven. I'm ready to try a club with some friends so I'd say a seven.

Depends on the situation. If it's familiar then maybe around a 7 but if it's new to me, then probably around a 3. At minute it's pretty much a 1 so just waiting for that to pass

Depends on the day. Sometimes I'm pretty chilled and just get on stuff, other times everything terrifies me. How much sleep I've had has an impact too.

How long have you felt like this? Do you have hobbies? Are you getting out and about? *hugs*

My confidence dips at times, but more often than not I am pretty confident - in who I am and how I look, it's taken a lot of work and still work to go

I find myself a reasonably confident guy but never cocky or pushy. I am well educated and have a professional career so this helps somewhat with carrying on a conversation which augments my confidence.

However, when I meet new people my confidence levels tend to fall but as the friendship/association grows then so too does my confidence levels.

As a kid every time I got on a plane to go on holiday with my dad he'd always say to me if this plane was to ever go down I guarantee you me and you survive and that stuck with me even until now I fear nothing I know I can do what I want I make decisions for myself I don't listen to any influence I don't need vaccines or masks I push myself at kick-boxing as it's the only thing that tests me and pushes me.. I have control over my state of mind because i choose to

In everyday life 100%. I could stand and speak in front of 10,000 people no problem. I can speak to anyone, do anything. Things like fab, not so. Not sure why but I’ve never really had great confidence meeting people here. Maybe it’s because I’m not from the “online” generation I really don’t know. It even baffles me.

Decent. I was surprised how relaxed I was naked in the club. I didn't walk around naked but then very few do but naked getting into and out of the pool and hottub and I was OK even though my shins are a bit of a mess. One on one I'm pretty confident especially in lingerie but fully naked too. I know that I'm appealing to those who like me and I enjoy teasing them.

Noone is attractive to everyone when you combine looks with personality but if you accept that some will really like you, Enjoy that and let it lift you up.

I used to think so actually haha. I used to dye my beard when I was younger!

If I'm with someone I know I can be as confident as anyone, it's approaching new people I struggle with.

My confidence level is 9.5 / 10.

I like myself. I am sure of my own feelings. Not everyone will like me, but if I am true to myself, I don’t bother about the few people that might not.

It’s probably the best part about being older. The confidence.

A year away from Fab due to ill health, my confidence levels plummeted to zero. Stuck at home, rarely having any human contact. Only leaving the house for medical check ups.

Returning here, a few weeks ago, helped...people liking photos is a boost to the self-esteem...hanging out in the Forums has made me laugh again...thank you Forumites.

But then, I made the mistake of messaging a former FB. Three arranged 'meets' in three weeks. He cancelled the first two in advance with, what I thought were genuine reasons. The third, on Fri night, he just didn't show up.

Years ago I wouldn't have cared less. But this time it sent me spiralling downwards. My amazing fwb spent half the night chatting to me until I was calm enough to sleep. Yesterday, still low and zero appetite, I forgot to eat and had a bloody scary hypoglycemic episode (levels almost normal again now I've eaten and taken my meds).

So, today is a rest day on the sofa. Just reading the Forums...sometimes contributing...which has got me smiling. Again, thank you all.

I have had bells palsy for over a year I also need a new hip so I do look like I've had a stroke. My confidence is still the same ! Different hat for a different day kinda thing. I've always been confident, mainly I think because I genuinely don't care what other people think of me. That doesn't mean I haven't had massive wobbles occasionally but very rare. I just walk tall and smile a lot !
