Friends! How many of us have them!

- love that song. Anyway. Are all your friends of the opposite sex attractive to you? Even if you aren’t into them, do you think they’re attractive?

If no, then how do you gas them up when they’re feeling down about themselves? Just not tell them that they’re attractive? (this last bit is a joke) but yeah

No I don't. I have one woman friend who I think is attractive.

If any of them are having a wobble about how they look I tell them things about them that I genuinely believe look nice or attractive in general or point out why their arms aren't fat

I often tell them when they make me laugh or have been kind or insightful...that sort of thing

I have to find someone attractive in some way to be friends with them, even if it's more about the magnetism of their personality more than their aesthetics.

When my friends are down, I always have nice things to say about them, because they wouldn't be my friend if I didn't think they were amazing.

This is such a hard one. I find when skeins us stuck in that loop they will dismiss anything you have to say so I find distraction is the best thing. Once you have them out of that vicious circle they are more open to hear about their attractive features. It's a very difficult line to tread though. You end up sounding like a fan girl and it can screw with the friendship.

Ps. I don't think any of my male friends would come for a boost of that kind from me. Not about their looks. And if they did feel down for whatever reason we didn't focus on how to feel more attractive or desirable - we focused on analysing what made them feel that way so they can come to

their own conclusion. Refocus too - from inflating compliments which are a plaster for the wounded self esteem.. to finding the causes and cleansing it more deeply.

It is in the eye of the beholder. I count my friends on my fingers. Quality not quantity.

Every friend has their uniqueness period.

I am blunt and honest with them. I call them when chips are down. Make them smile or laugh somehow. Laughter is always best medicine op

Yes. I think there’s a link between physical attraction and personality attraction. All my female friends are gorgeous in different ways

Very few people are unattractive actually once you know them and they open up a little.

The exception is people hardened / damaged beyond repair , overly cynical permanent bitch faces are not pretty , but that’s rare , sometimes it’s 90% but you find a nice person underneath and pretty cones out

I think I find all my friends attractive, they have something about them I like, that’s why they are my friends.

And i can think someone is pretty/handsome without wanting to boff them. It’s like admiring a piece of art at the end of the day.

There’s a lot of women I know who I think are good looking, absolutely.

And I think that many also have attractive personalities too.

Do I think of them sexually or let my behaviour towards them ever veer towards being inappropriate? Hell no (well at least I hope not!)

There’s a time and place for everything and the pursuit of sex is not an all-consuming goal of mine!

Nearly all my friends are girls.

My role is gay best friend, I am honoured by their trust.

I’ll happily call them fit/beautiful etc.

they know I’m definitely not gay and never lie, they know if they want anything more out of me they have to jump on me.

I'm not sexually attracted to my friends but I think they're all good looking in their own way.

It's very rare I look at someone and think they are ugly.

Same, all of my friends are doing big things in life, good jobs, degrees/masters etc, so I will always gas them up because they deserve it
