I’m coming into abit of inheritance( I no I wish it was a 25 y year old brunette) but my question is as follows.

Can anyone recommend a high interest isa?

Either talk to a Financial Advisor, or cheaper option, get a quality weekend paper (Telegraph/Times etc) that has a "Money" section. Alternatively, try 'Which'.

Have a look around RBS have 2 yrs for 5.51%. Yorkshire Building Society has 5.4% for 2 yrs. Skipton have 5.25% for 2 yrs. Halifax have 5.3% for 1 yr, 5.35% for 2 yrs or 4.5% for 5 yrs (currently only one offering a 5 yr deal).

See an IFA. This is not the place for financial advice. While I trust people on here with my man I wouldn’t trust them with my money!!!

If you’re a base rate, or higher earner consider putting 50% in your pension, and doing a self-assessment. It will reduce your tax liability and be invested with compound interest. The other half buy something that brings you joy and pay down any debt. That’s what I would do. This is by no means financial advice and see an IFA
