I am getting really fed up that despite my profile stating that I don't accomodate people on here are constantly starting conversations with me and then trying to put pressure on me to host.

Annoying isn't it OP when people think they can just invite themselves round!

You're in charge OP, don't put up with any nonsense. Simply delete those who fail to understand and or respect your prerequisites.

I don't block anyone just delete which works a treat.

No need to let anyone get u down, concentrate your efforts on genuine peeps who've taken the trouble to read and understand your profile.

Peeps who respect your wishes, they're the ones worthy of your time.

Best wishes...

Yeah that is weird then.

But a wink is an indicator of interest.

If you wink back, I can write you a message and take it from there, knowing that there is at least a baseline of interest. 95% of messages are being ignored here, why should I make any more effort and compose a message for 3-5 minutes just so it's thrown out, unread or just completely ignored?

The profile and pics are for a first impression, a message shouldn't be the be all for generating attraction.

And since women and couples go through their profiles and only open the interesting ones, why shouldn't they do the same with winks?

Look through them and what strikes the eye will be opened, and if it suits, they can send a wink back. No need to write a message themselves (in what world would we live if women would write first messages am I right?).

I wouldn't go that far. If someone has winked at you they clearly like what they see. So why wouldn't they respond to a message that you've sent back? I really don't get it.

I get more responses from winks than messages. Due to being single male on Fab. Females , couples as a lot of posts on forums. About the amount of mail they get ? . Yes a lot do ignore winks. But if profiles wink back. Then I send message. Plus can refer to wink in heading. So hopefully message is read.

Quite a long list but I'm not sure I'd describe it as being annoyed. It doesn't get under my skin enough to use that term.

But most of what is listed above, lack of info or honesty mainly. But my profile is closed down because I simply cannot be arsed with deleting the lack of info dishonest messages. It's a waste of time.

What does annoy me though is when people take constant swipes at you and are accusing you of doing exactly what they are doing...usually attention seeking. Some people need to take a good long hard look at themselves and the way behave and ask themselves really how people view them before they try taking out the competition.

Define fun. Then does your definition of fun fit other persons fun?

I expect not.

As for lighthearted. It's a place for discussion, not an echo chamber of yes men having a circle jerk and smelling each others darts and agreeing they are perfection.

Discussion comes with conflict and friction. Emotional and passionate, wether that be heated or logical and civilised.

1. (Mainly) single fellas who have no self-awareness and bemoan the fact they can't get a meet. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but take a long, hard look in the mirror. Work on your personality because your looks aren't cutting it.

2. Guys who start a thread asking women do they prefer A or B, never state their preference, and then agree with whatever a woman says.

3. People (mainly men) who say "Shame you don't live closer ". Why? Just because you're within 5 miles of someone doesn't mean they're going to fuck you

4. Guys who say the fakes, creeps, time wasters etc spoil it for them. No they don't. You spoil it for you because you're not standing out and don't take notice of the numerous advice giving threads.

5. Women who brag about not having trouble getting meets. Get over yourselves, Quasimodo's uglier sister would have no trouble getting attention from men on here.

6. TGs/TVs/CDs who respond to threads asking for a woman's opinion on something as if they've had experience from a woman's point of view. Come on now, let's get real...

7. Couples who are looking to full swap with couples and have no pic of their fella (dick pics don't count) It doesn't matter how 'professional' you think you are your employer/clients aren't going to recognise you naked. You can blur distinguishing mark marks/tattoos you know.

That's it for now. If I think of any more I'll be back.

People (single ladies) complaining about having hundreds of emails everyday.

I don't doubt it happens.

But not setting up filters, and being proactive about approaching the people they are interested in.

They can do something about the 'problem ' but prefer to bask in the adulation.

I think most do that in fairness … they take the time to write a profile that not many obviously read and I guarantee singles and couples block guys even though they are looking for the right ones just to stop all the wrong ones from sending pointless junk mail and cock pics … I’m sure you’ll find out from the responses here anyway

Ugh... It's hard to be interested in people (men) when they make so little effort with their profiles. It's mostly just a sea of dick pics and that's not what the majority of us base our attraction on.

"8. People who put a after their own message. Correct me if I'm wrong but is a thumbs up to indicate you agree with something? Why are you going to put a after your own message? Surely that's for A.N Other to do?

FrankI see it more of an ‘understood?’ or an ‘over and out’.

Fascinating how differently things can be interpreted "

Interesting take on the but, 'over and out' means end of conversation, nothing more to be said. Is that what you actually mean when you put a ? You don't expect any response to what you've just said?

"" Those annoying twats that like to get post 175

and those that surpass them "

Yeah. Them. They’re the worst!!

"

Less and less bothers me about Fab Swingers (now Fabguys and especially its forum - that's different lol) - I'm very philosophical about it. Especially cancelled meets - most of the time it's just 'life' surely (even regarding desire really), and what should always be half-expected imo.

What does often cheese me off though - often via disappointment - is people who 'name and shame' supposed 'timewasters'. I just find it a) a massive turnoff (personal, angry profiles... mmmm sexy), and b) a bit worrying! Not that I let people down often at all (it has happened alas), I just find it all a bit coercive. Nothing is worse that non completely-consensually happy meets guys, so why make such a deal of forcing anything? I just half expect things to fizzle out, but hope to be surprised.
